I decided to make an installation of virtual machine software on my computer. I used a post by Ian Walker at www.linuxsolutions.org in order to have guidelines (and a friend with whom to talk) concerning the matter. Ian’s install was using CentOS and so the guidelines were similar. The only variant was that when I performed the
yum groupinstall Virtualization
I automatically downloaded qemu, but not the Xen kernel. I did install the Xen kernel, but it did not have the necessary modules for my wireless NIC and consequently, I went back to the 2.6.25 kernel that I boot by default.
I decided that I would do a Debian installation first. It is truly a crazy thing to see a Linux booting inside another Linux.
