I updated (sudo yum -y update) from 220.127.116.11-137.fc8 to a 18.104.22.168-12.fc8 kernel. Apparently this kernel is highly buggy.
I saw “pnpacpi: exceeded the max number of mem resources: 12” on the boot. I was having screen flashes (highly unstable!) and couldn’t get my Intel wireless NIC to work.
I was apparently not the only person to find this to be the case. The Bugzilla reference shows us just that.
