I recently installed Fedora 13 on my Dell Latitude D630. I installed from XFCE live-disk and all went without flaw.
I backed up all of my data and then made a complete erasure of my current space (including /home). Due to the number of partitions in use, I’m using the LVM software that comes with Fedora. I used the ext4 filesystem and all seems to be going well.
With minimal setup (power management settings, etc.) the laptop functions excellently! Suspend-to-disk works without flaw as one shuts the lid. The network/networkmanager/applet combination is excellent..
My next task is to work on power management/reduction.
